Hey, fish want to go on walks, too, ya know?
A popular YouTuber out of Taiwan knows that his fish want to go on a walk, so he made a nifty fish-walkin’ apparatus in order to do so. These fish are really out of the water if you know what I mean.
Supposedly, it all began with a series of posts on Facebook from members who caught a glimpse of a person walking his pet fish around Taipei in something that looked like a fish tank on wheels. Well, the photos went viral, and people started commenting that the man pushing the fish tank was a popular Taiwanese DIY YouTuber, Huang Xiaojie, aka “Jerry.”
Sure enough, Jerry released a video showcasing his invention, calling it one of his toughest challenges.
You can watch it below.
As you can see, the DIY expert basically welded a metal chassis as support for a sealed acrylic tube, slapped some wheels on it, and then added a convenient handle so it can be pushed forward.
The tube aquarium is equipped with a battery-powered filtration system, an air pump, and some lights if you end up taking a stroll in the evening.
