A strange set of lights gliding across the night sky in Slovakia has sparked the latest round of UFO speculation — and this time, the sighting comes with security camera footage.
According to a report highlighted by Coast to Coast AM, the mysterious incident occurred on February 25 near the village of Dubnica nad Váhom. A witness later submitted the encounter to the National UFO Reporting Center after discovering something unusual on their home security camera.
The witness said they were outside with two friends when they suddenly heard a loud sound passing overhead. Oddly enough, despite the noise, they couldn’t see anything in the sky at the time — even though conditions were reportedly clear that night.
Curious about what had flown above them, the witness later checked their security footage.
That’s when things got weird.
The camera appears to show a formation of lights arranged in a triangular shape silently cruising across the night sky. The eerie formation moves steadily across the frame before disappearing from view, leaving viewers with the classic UFO question: what exactly was that?
A Familiar Shape in UFO Lore
Triangular UFO sightings have been reported for decades and often spark speculation about either secret military aircraft or something more mysterious. The so-called “black triangle” phenomenon has popped up in sightings around the world, sometimes described as massive silent craft with lights at each corner.
Whether the Slovakian footage captures something exotic or something far more ordinary remains unclear.
In many cases, triangular light formations can be explained by drones, aircraft, satellites, or even optical illusions created by perspective. But in this case, the witness insists the strange lights appeared to pass directly overhead — and the sound they heard didn’t match anything they recognized.
For now, the footage joins the ever-growing archive of unexplained objects captured by cameras around the world.
And while it may not prove the existence of extraterrestrial visitors, it does add one more curious entry to the long list of things that occasionally drift through our skies without a neat explanation.
Which, depending on your perspective, either means aliens… or someone somewhere is testing a very strange aircraft.
