A 43-year-old man from Hertfordshire in England, Matt Doughty, discovered something fishy on his doorbell camera.
Doughty, who was hanging out with his friend Kevin, had been sitting at home watching football on TV when he received an alert on his phone from his doorbell camera — letting him know that someone was outside.
Although, when he played back the footage he realized it wasn’t a person at all and that it was triggered by something in the sky. The object had three bright lights in a triangular formation that appeared to be moving slowly above the houses in the neighborhood.
“I looked at the footage and played it back,” said Doughty in an interview with Mirror. “It was silent. Three lights came from the sky and I thought it was really weird. Where it’s come through the trees, it’s come over the house opposite me then the footage captures it coming from right to left. It disappears over the top of woodland to the left of my house. It was a bit of a chilling feeling really – I thought ‘oh my god, that’s quite close’. I wondered if I’d discovered something nobody knows anything about. When I showed Kevin he said ‘jeez, that looks like a UFO’.”
