A Mexican politician is stirring up buzz online after sharing some seriously strange footage from his ranch. Jaime Rodríguez, who previously served as governor of Nuevo León and even ran for president back in 2018, recently posted a compilation video to Facebook showing glowing orbs zipping around his property in the community of Icamole.
Lights in the Night
The clips, recorded on his security cameras, reveal small illuminated orbs darting across the hills with surprising speed. Unlike the usual “bug close to the lens” explanation, these lights seem to keep their shape and trajectory—leaving Rodríguez (and plenty of viewers) scratching their heads.
What made the situation even weirder? His animals. In one clip, dogs and cats at the ranch appear visibly agitated, barking and pacing as the orbs float into view. Rodríguez admitted that their reaction was what “caught [his] attention the most.”
