A strange security video from a Mexico City metro station has stirred up speculation after showing a large piece of cleaning equipment seemingly move on its own before crashing onto the tracks.
According to local media, the incident occurred earlier this month at a relatively empty train depot. In the clip, a heavy buffing machine—left parked near the edge—suddenly lurches forward as if pushed by an unseen force. It then topples onto the rails, triggering a massive short circuit and a burst of sparks.
The uncanny way the machine slid so easily sparked theories online, with some suggesting the culprit was a ghost haunting the station. Others, however, took a more skeptical view, pointing to a potential mechanical malfunction—or even the possibility that the video was staged.
