TikTok users have been officially alarmed, to say the least, by what a creepy figure captured in a video tutorial that demonstrates how to make some neat, supersized fake nails.
Those commenting on the video have given the character the name “shadow demon.” In the video, you can see the shadowy person standing behind the woman, who’s known as @mooyahyah. Sure, the video tutorial is super compelling as she shows how she removes her eight-inch nails and applies new ones, but the star of the video isn’t the do-it-yourselfer. It’s in fact the ghostly tutorial crasher.

As you saw, the TikTok user appears not to notice and continues filming, showing viewers how she applies new butterfly-patterned nails onto the end of her fingers.
The footage, which was originally uploaded on March 18, 2021, left quite a few people feeling uneasy and delivered plenty of chills. It’s hard to say if it’s a fake, merely something the TikTok user planned, and the “shadow demon” is genuinely interested in her riveting video tutorial.
